Data Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data scientists and engineers, driving innovation and excellence.
• Design and oversee experiments, particularly those involving human subjects.
• Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other departments to influence strategy and product development through data-driven insights.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Team Lead.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a data scientist.
• MS degree in a quantitative discipline such as neuroscience, biomedical engineering, psychology, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
• Expertise in experimental design and data analysis, preferably involving human experiments.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and statistical inference.
• Proficiency with classical machine learning algorithms and handling tabular data.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous research and analysis.
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve data-influenced results.
• Excellent quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively under tight and demanding timelines.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with eye-tracking technology or other sensor-based data collection.
• Knowledge of robotics or 3D movement trajectory calculations.
• Background in multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Python.
