Postdoctoral position in computational modelling of submarine landslides at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel

A fully supported postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

The research is concerned with developing of a novel computational framework for submarine landslide evolution and its impact on the underwater infrastructure. 

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in nonlinear finite element methods, constitutive modeling, impact and soil mechnics.

This position is funded by Israeli Ministry of Energy and involves a collaboration with Ariel University. Duration of the position is for 1-3 years. For more information, please contact me at [email protected].
