About The Role

As a Frontend Tech Lead at Agora, you’ll become a valuable member of an innovative and fast-growing department, working in a truly Agile environment utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

You’ll take a key role in shaping the way we develop our UI/UX, leading the frontend architecture, establishing best practices, helping design rich and complex new features, integrating new technologies and framework and mentoring our talented and eager developers.

We are looking for a seasoned fullstack developer with a very strong background in frontend. Someone who knows how to lead and inspire people, but also loves getting their hands dirty with actual hands-on development.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience as a software engineer
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with web technologies, specifically React, preferably with TypeScript
• Excellent skills in UI design: HTML/CSS, Responsive components, and Client Performance Expert-level proficiency in building large-scale web applications
• Experience defining, writing, and supporting reusable and maintainable UI components and API’s
• Good knowledge of Node.js server-side development (an advantage)
• Experience building in-house design systems (an advantage)
• A team player with strong communication skills, but also capable of working independently
• Fluent English speaker (verbal and written communication is a must)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, or military equivalent certifications
