Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Team Lead to oversee the technical direction and execution of our platform development while contributing actively as a hands-on developer. In this role, you will lead by example, mentoring and guiding a team of developers while directly contributing to the design and development of scalable, data-driven solutions. Your role will involve managing the development of real-time analytics features, advanced attribution models, and seamless data integrations, all while maintaining Violet Growth’s commitment to transparency and open data structures. You will split your time between leadership responsibilities and hands-on coding, ensuring that technical excellence is embedded across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a remote team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Implement key features and contribute to the codebase, setting standards for the team.
• Lead efforts to optimize platform performance and ensure reliability.

• Collaborate with the product team to prioritize and develop new features aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of real-time analytics, advanced attribution models, and AI-powered insights.
• Drive scalability and maintainability in all aspects of the platform.

• Design, develop, and test scalable web applications with modern frameworks and tools.
• Ensure seamless integration of data pipelines, from collection to attribution models and real-time dashboards.
• Lead optimization efforts to enhance platform performance and reliability.

• Establish and maintain best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
• Manage sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration workflows.
• Identify and resolve technical and application issues efficiently.

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the platform.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to support growth and evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with strategic objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

● 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, proficient with modern web technologies, including Node.js, NestJS, ReactJS, NextJS, and Google Cloud Platform.

● Proven experience in both front-end and back-end software development.

● Clear understanding and hands-on experience in building adaptive and efficient front-end applications.

● Strong expertise in relational database design and development.

● Proficiency in source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) environments.

● Solid experience with agile development methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.

● Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

● Experience working closely with Graphic Designers and tools like Figma.

● Ability to assess application and process improvement opportunities and prepare rationale documentation for team members and stakeholders.

● Proven ability to research and evaluate various software products to enhance functionality and performance.

● High availability for working with remote teams, including analyzing and resolving technical and application problems promptly.

● Exceptional verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
