AS 400 COBOL prograer

Integration as a COBOL developer in the organization's development team.
Writing, improving and testing code in AS/400 systems while understanding business processes and needs analysis, system management, jobs and processes.
Collaborative work in enterprise projects with multiple development teams.
Support for faults and system users.

Requirements:

• Proven ability in writing Cobol with at least 7 years of experience - mandatory
• Proven experience in writing and optimizing SQL code - mandatory
• Experience solving complex problems and analyzing problems and debugging code - mandatory
• Possesses a high independent learning ability including learning from existing code Reverse Engineering - mandatory.
• Has the ability to lead tasks from the characterization, development, testing and support phase - mandatory.
• Has the ability to pay attention to work with end users - a must
• Knowledge and experience in the worlds of insurance - a significant advantage
• Familiarity with AS400 systems infrastructure - an advantage.
• Experience working with SAP systems - a significant advantage
• Experience in developing REST SOAP interfaces to systems in the organization - an advantage
