Position Summary: We seek an accomplished Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical background, hands-on app development experience, and cloud and data technologies expertise. As the Engineering Manager, you will be pivotal in steering our mission to usher healthcare into the data-driven era, leading a team of skilled engineers in crafting and implementing transformative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Led and mentored a dynamic team of Software and DevOps engineers, cultivating a collaborative and innovative work culture.
• Showcase hands-on experience in app development, ensuring the creation of resilient and scalable applications and platforms. led the conceptualization, design, development, and deployment of SAAS solutions aligned with our healthcare data-driven goals.
• Work closely with the Product and Project managers to oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement processes to enhance engineering workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, physicians, and research labs, aligning engineering efforts with organizational objectives.
• Responsible for building a high-performance team. You can use your significant experience in recruiting technology professionals, identifying top talent, conducting interviews, and making strategic hiring decisions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience: 10 years in a software development role, with at least four years in a leadership or team lead position.
• Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and modern software development methodologies and tools.
• Expertise in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working in a startup environment
