R&D Director

WINN.AI is a fast-growing startup, backed by leading VCs, developing a real-time AI assistant for revenue leaders and representatives. We are looking for an experienced Director of R&D.to lead our team!

As the Director of R&D you will be instrumental in leading our R&D efforts,

driving innovation, and spearheading the development of cutting-edge AI technologies. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our product and contributing to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the R&D department including engineering, AI, DevOps, QA
• Understand the business thoroughly, to ensure data drives actionable business insights
• Collaborate with the product department to define requirements and prioritize feature development
• Oversee software product design, development, testing, and deployment
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives and deadlines
• Foster a culture of success, learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing
• Mentor team members for professional growth
• Hire people, create teams, create (and modify if needed) the R&D departmant structure

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams, preferably in startup companies which grew from small scale to large (10+ -> 100+)
• 8+ years of experience in scaling software engineering
• Proficiency in developing SaaS applications
• Experience in engineering best practices (code reviews, testing coverage, agile methodologies)
• Tech-savvy, data-oriented, entrepreneurial leader
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving objectives
