Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application and Test Engineer to join our development team.

In this role, you'll play a key role in testing our optical, mechanical, electrical and electronic modules with our software and control setups. You'll get hands-on with our first prototypes, making sure everything operates robustly by running system tests, quality assurance protocols and performance analyses. As a key contributor to the R&D team, you will help to develop and integrate our multidisciplinary solution together with the software and control services. Reporting to our head of engineering, you will work closely with our software teams and hardware development team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and product team to understand requirements and translate them into system functionalities
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of applications. Ensure integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery.
• Develop test plans and strategies that ensure software or hardware meets all requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure that the product is functional, reliable, and meets both external and internal standards.
• Participate in meetings with customers, lead implementation projects and address field issues and customers’ requests
• Create professional test reports and technical documentation  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in QA, testing and validation of complex systems
• Familiarity with multiple fields such as mechanical, electrical and software engineering, ensuring they meet all functional and technical requirements
• Ability to write test procedures and QA protocols, attention to detail and documentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from different backgrounds 
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
