System Architect

We are looking for a System and Network Architect to join our Harmony SASE product as part of the architecture group.

We're looking for a highly motivated and talented architect to join our growing team in a start-up-like environment who will help envision, lead, and deliver our innovative network security solutions.

This role is perfect for a highly experienced system & networks architect with high development skills, managerial skills, and a deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and networking.

As an integral part of our R&D, you'll work with a motivated Architects team and be responsible for architecting the next generation of Firewall as a service and zero-trust applications. You'll need to have a profound understanding of networking protocols, data centers, cloud networks, and VPNs, as well as experience in cloud SAAS applications.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

• Invent and write the high-level design document for new product solutions.
• Work closely with the Product and R&D Managers to define requirements and solutions and escort the execution process.
• Innovate and investigate new technologies that can be added to improve the product solution.
• Technically mentor & inspire multiple teams and champion engineering excellence

Your Knowledge & Skills:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• At least four years of experience in communication and network architecture.
• At least four years of experience as an R&D manager, team leader, or group leader.
• At least four years of experience in developing server-side network applications.
• Experience working with distributed systems, developing high-scale solutions for production level.
• Experience in writing SW high-level design and system architecture.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring software development engineers.
• Extensive experience in cloud system architecture and AWS services
• Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud systems.
• Deep understanding of SW design patterns.
• Have a team-first approach, along with strong management and personal communication skills.
• A problem solver, capable of finding creative solutions and getting things done.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience in GOlang, Java, or C++.
• Good knowledge of network protocols – TCP/IP/HTTP/VPNs.
• Experience in data centers and cloud networks.
• Experience delivering all layers of web apps from DB/backend/frontend and their optimizations.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD).
• Experience with NodeJS, Go, and web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
