Senior Algorithms Engineer

Cipia is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative computer vision algorithms, contributing significantly to our cutting-edge Human Machine Interaction technologies. This role entails working within a dynamic team focused on pushing the boundaries of algorithm performance and application in real-time environments.

As a Senior Algorithm Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the research, development, and implementation of advanced computer vision modules that are set to revolutionize interactions between humans and machines.

Responsibilities:

Development of advanced computer vision algorithms in Python, with an emphasis on real-time applications.
Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on development goals, timelines, and customer requirements.
Conduct rigorous research and stay abreast of the latest trends and publications in computer vision and deep learning, applying insights to ongoing projects.
Foster a collaborative work environment, facilitating effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Ensure adherence to development best practices and company policies under predefined deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality, well-documented, and timely solutions.

Requirements:

Education:

B.Sc. in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required.

Job skills:

Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in the computer vision field.
Expertise in Python programming with at least 5 years of experience
C++ proficiency is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, numpy & pandas is a must.
Demonstrable experience in leading R&D efforts in the realm of computer vision and deep learning.
Experience and Knowledge of optimizing algorithms is an advantage.
A history of delivering complex, high-quality products on time and with attention to detail.
Familiarity with modern development processes and best practices in software engineering.
