Position Overview The Algorithm Developer will join QTREX's R&D team and develop algorithms for our advanced manufacturing platforms. The role combines computer vision, image processing, machine learning, deep learning, computational geometry, and optimization to solve real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges. This is a hands-on position covering the full development cycle from algorithm design and experimentation to implementation, validation, optimization, and integration into production systems. Responsibilities Design and implement algorithms for advanced manufacturing systems. Develop solutions involving computer vision, image processing, machine/deep learning, geometry, data analysis, and optimization. Implement and Validate production-quality algorithms in Python and C++. Optimize algorithms for accuracy, robustness, and computational performance. Integrate algorithms into existing software and hardware systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary Software, Physics, Electronics, Mechanical, and System Engineering teams. Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of professional algorithm development experience. Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning, including model training and evaluation on frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.. Experience with computer vision and image processing, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, and similar libraries. Practical experience using AI tools for software and algorithm development. Advantage Experience with computational geometry, 2D/3D data, CAD, meshes, or point clouds.
