Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at Approval Technology. As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of products. Your day-to-day tasks will involve testing, analyzing electromagnetic interference (EMI), and working with electrical engineering teams. While the role is primarily located in HaZorea, flexibility for some remote work is available.
Qualifications
- Electromagnetic Compatibility and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) knowledge
- Troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving compatibility issues
- Strong background in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with test equipment related to EMC
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of certification standards and regulatory requirements is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
