Director of Engineering - Financial Integrity Risk

Financial integrity's mission is to Drive trust and integrity for all people and businesses using Meta’s financial ecosystem while accelerating growth. Our role is to make sure that Meta's financial ecosystem enables our users and customers gain access to financial opportunities in a safe and trust worthy way by managing financial risk, enforcing financial regulation and providing customer care.We are looking for an Engineering Director to lead our risk management engineering team, developing world class fraud detection and mitigation system, and enabling advanced financial services through managing credit risk. The team is central to Meta's ability to safety and effectively scale its business growth.You will be responsible for the tech and org strategy, operating in a high pace, high impact, complex ecosystem. You will be driving the evolution of an ML driven, cutting edge system dealing with planetary scale deployment. We are looking for a leader with strong technical foundations, proven track record in building, structuring and evolving a healthy organization, supporting senior ICs and cultivating a high quality engineering culture. You will have the opportunity to drive and influence product strategy and vision and drive product execution.

Director of Engineering - Financial Integrity Risk Responsibilities:

• Manage a director scale engineering organization
• Build, manage and support diverse teams of software engineers and engineering managers, supporting senior ICs and experts
• Deliver high quality product experience to maximize user value, upholding design simplicity and safeguarding our users' privacy
• Form cross-functional and cross-discipline partnerships across Meta Monetization and product teams to drive engineering efforts
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Extensive technical industry experience
• Significant years of experience in engineering management
• Extensive experience managing large scale, senior teams and individuals
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring and leading technical organizations, including performance management
• Proven track record in establishing multidisciplinary cross functional partnerships
• Experience working in a distributed teams environment
