Senior Staff Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a n Automation System Test Validation Engineer to join our System Validation team in Israel that developing a cutting-edge Home Gateway Platform.

As a member of the System Validation team, you will become a key player of the activity including:

• Developing and maintaining automation tests for our Docsis/Voice/Gateway products
• Developing and maintaining automation infrastructure used in all Jsystem automation tests we use
• Developing and maintaining tools that are used by the CI and scrum teams to run tests, see tests results, document CI setups, etc
• Be part of the CI team that is responsible for GCI and NBT tests
• Collaborate with other team members and other scrum teams, helping to reproduce issues and fix automation issues when required due to spec/SW changes
  
  

Qualifications

• Vast experience in JAVA programming
• Vast experience in Jsystem infrastructure
• Vast experience in writing and maintain drivers for equipment tools
• Deep understanding networking and Linux
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking and traffic generation tools
• Experience in web development
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Familiar with Cable Networking (DOCSIS ) – Advantage
• Familiar with Python – Advantage
• 10+ Years in Automation tests development
• 5+ Years in working with CI environments (Teamcity, Jenkins, etc.)
• BS in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or related
