Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup company in the Transit Tech industry, currently considered a unicorn! The company has developed a platform providing smart transportation solutions, including on-demand ride-hailing and real-time ridesharing. Their algorithm solves complex mathematical and computational problems to optimize vehicle routes for passengers' needs, all in real-time.

The company operates in over 650 cities worldwide and aims to expand accessibility to efficient, equitable, and sustainable public transportation globally.

They have close to 1400 employees worldwide, with around 500 in Israel. Located in Tel Aviv, near the railway line, they adopt a hybrid work model, working from home two days a week.

Responsibility

• Be involved in all stages of development - from brainstorming, planning, testing, and up to production

• Work closely with engineering and product teams

• Develop test scenarios and documentation. Create and write test plans and test cases

• Manual testing on a wide variety of environments

• Write automated tests using in-house test tools

• Identify and reproduce bugs

• Provide feedback on product quality and user experience

• Set up and maintain test environments

Requirements

• Professional with more than 3 years of experience

• Experience with QA methodologies and testing processes

• Experience in writing testing documents

• Strong knowledge of testing processes and understanding Agile methodologies

• Experience with back end and front end testing - MUST

• Experience with writing automated tests - MUST

• Python knowledge – advantage

• Highly independent, passionate, self-motivated and autodidact

• Technically minded, with an ability to think out of the box and find solutions for complex testing scenarios

• Investigator and detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture

• Excellent communicator with good ability to work collaboratively with others
