With programs in over 90 locations throughout Israel, Be-Atzmi focuses on social and geographic peripheries and serves diverse populations such as single mothers, young adults, ultra-orthodox Jews, Arabs, new immigrants, and ex-convicts. The organization works in partnership with government ministries, local municipalities, Israeli businesses, and the philanthropic sector to promote employment among underprivileged populations.

Role Description

This is an on-site role as a Social Worker located in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing assistance to unemployed and underprivileged individuals in their integration into the workforce. This includes conducting assessments, developing individualized employment plans, providing counseling and support, and connecting clients with resources and job opportunities. The Social Worker will also collaborate with government ministries, local municipalities, and community partners to facilitate employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in social work or related field
• Knowledge of employment assistance programs and resources
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Ability to develop individualized employment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Knowledge of local labor market trends and job opportunities
• Familiarity with government and community resources
• Fluency in Hebrew and English
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field (Master's degree preferred)
