Full Stack Data Engineer, Temporary

Description

Fiverr is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a proven record in web development who will create new data-oriented tools and empower internal teams by harnessing Fiverr’s data and technological stack. You’ll join our Data Tools team, part of the Data department.

The Data Tools team is focused on building tailored solutions that help internal teams with challenging tasks such as A/B testing analysis, self-service automation tools (ETLs, reporting, monitoring, etc.), and data observability while creating client and server-side.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Develop in-house full-stack applications to provide self-service tools.
• Work with product and business units to provide customized solutions to support their day-to-day tasks.
• Take part in the product development lifecycle, such as gathering requirements, design, stakeholder feedback, and execution.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain databases for internal products.
• Work closely with tech teams on the design and implementation of applicative data solutions.
• Setting high standards for quality and efficiency, striving for engineering excellence.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience with React - a must.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience with big data databases like BigQuery/Snowflake.
• Experience with big data streaming solutions like Kafka/Kinesis.
• High level of SQL and database optimization.
• Experience with 24/7 systems and real-time analytics.
• Experience with backend frameworks like NestJS, Express, or similar - big advantage.
• Experience with Typescript - advantage
• Experience with Unit testing - advantage
• Experience with backend development using Python - advantage.
• B.A./B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, statistics, or equivalent.
