Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, architect, and scale our core enterprise data platform. In this high-impact role, you will build the underlying infrastructure that powers real-time decisioning across Product, Marketing, and Content leadership—from high-volume raw event ingestion to polished analytics platforms. You will maintain full ownership of data modeling, transformations, visualization layers, and warehouse automation.

Core Responsibilities

• Data Infrastructure & Pipelines: Design, build, and optimize high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting heterogeneous data streams into our central cloud data warehouse (BigQuery).
• Enterprise Data Modeling: Construct robust, clean, and fully documented data models serving as the organization's single source of truth.
• BI & Self-Serve Analytics: Architect enterprise dashboards and self-serve BI products that deliver real-time visibility into conversion, retention, engagement, and revenue metrics.
• Data Health Tracking & Governance: Implement automated validation frameworks, data health tracking, and alert triggers to guarantee data precision, low latency, and pipeline reliability.
• Attribution & Growth Engineering: Support growth teams by engineering attribution frameworks, LTV prediction models, ROAS tracking, and paid/organic campaign analytics.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Product, Operations, and Strategy teams to transform ambiguous business hypotheses into scalable data pipelines and A/B testing models.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing data pipelines, data warehouses (BigQuery preferred), and analytics architectures – Mandatory.
• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial/Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Core Languages: Deep proficiency in Python and advanced SQL – Mandatory.
• Orchestration & Transformation Stack: Production experience with dbt and workflow orchestrators (Apache Airflow).
• Modern BI Ecosystems: Mastery of enterprise BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI), including calculated measures, data layer design, and self-serve architectures.
• Analytics & Attribution Ecosystem: Experience integrating mobile attribution platforms (AppsFlyer, Adjust), product analytics suites (Mixpanel, Amplitude), and digital ad networks (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
