Legal Counsel, Commercial - Temporary position

Description

We are looking for an experienced, result-oriented Commercial Legal Counsel to join our Legal team.

A lawyer with 3-4 years of experience in a high-tech/commercial department of a leading law firm. The Commercial Legal Counsel will provide legal support to multiple departments, business units, and subsidiaries within the organization, in order to facilitate Fiverr’s day-to-day business.

This position is temporary, maternity leave replacement.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial contracts, including facilities agreements, business collaborations, services agreements, order forms, licenses, and related documents with suppliers, business partners, and customers.
• Coordinate with various teams (Procurement, Facilities, Finance, Marketing, Security, IT, and others) in commercial contracting matters to support our policies and procedures.
• Create, maintain and improve standard templates, business processes, and internal policies.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice, counsel, and recommendations to various stakeholders on various legal and business issues, including labor law, disputes, and ongoing legal risk assessment.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure business compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Special projects as assigned by the company.
  
  

Requirements

• A bachelor's law degree from a leading academic faculty, and qualification to practice law in Israel.
• 3-4 years experience in commercial law from a high-tech/commercial department of a leading law firm.
• Significant experience in drafting commercial agreements, and ability to draft, negotiate and finalize agreements independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced business environment and globally distributed teams. A team player.
• Strong customer-facing orientation.
• Multitasking, ability to prioritize tasks, independence.
• English at a native level, as most of the work is conducted in English.
