RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Development: Build and manage a skilled NOC team capable of operating 24/7. Provide training, mentorship, and direction to team members.

Incident Management: Develop and implement robust incident management and response strategies to minimize impact on services and SLA adherence. Ensure incidents are resolved efficiently, with root cause analyses conducted and documented.

Operational Excellence: Monitor AWS infrastructure using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch. Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and security compliance.

Stakeholder Communication: Supply real-time information to stakeholders during incidents, summarize events, and provide insights into future actions to prevent recurrence.

Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for tighter automation, leveraging infrastructure as code to improve operational efficiencies. Explore and implement coding advantages to enhance system reliability and scalability.

SLA Management: Ensure all operational activities adhere to agreed-upon service level agreements. Monitor and report on SLA performance, identifying areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a NOC Manager or similar leadership role in a technical operations center
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, and Lambda.
• Expertise in using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and AWS CloudWatch.

• Excellent incident management skills, with the ability to lead under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Deep understanding of SLA concepts and experience managing SLAs.
• Proficiency in automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to summarize events and propose actions for future improvement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team development and stakeholder management.
