MKS Ophir is looking for an R&D scientist for the Beam Profile Department. In this role you will develop new techniques for laser beam measurement and refine existing instruments. This entails experimental work, data analysis and theoretical modeling.
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Scientist who can…
- Design and implement laser measurement solutions
- Evaluate new technologies and components
- Analyze the performance of optical systems
- Master of Science, or Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience* in Physics or Electro-optics
- *With sufficient relevant experience, candidates with a B.Sc. will also be considered
- 5 years of related experience is required (at least 3 of which were in a corporate laboratory setting, preferably involving imaging systems)
- Experience working with MATLAB or Python for data analysis and/or image processing (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Proven communication skills, including in English
