The role:
The Renewal Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of customer renewals and related operational tasks within the organization. This role requires proactive management of renewal processes, effective communication with internal teams, and meticulous attention to detail to drive successful renewals and maintain customer satisfaction.
The day-to-day
- Proactively monitor upcoming renewals monthly.
- Coordinate with Customer Engagement Success Managers (CESMs) to update renewal notes and ensure timely action and address any delays
- Facilitate communication among team members to track renewal progress and address any delays.
- Manage CRM operations, including data integrity, opportunities accuracy and submission on time.
- Facilitate autorenewal processes, handle yearly increases and internal rejections, collaborating with Finance to rectify errors.
- Manage billing options and payment terms for customers, requests of changes to payment terms, considering customer history and potential churn risk.
- 1 year experience in customer-facing positions including sales, client support etc.’
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Law (LLB), Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing renewal operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other relevant software platforms.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or operations management
- English - fluent
