A full-time Analyst position is currently open at a global cyber company!
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the privacy program and contributing to legal initiatives related to technology, security, and AI projects. Working closely with internal technology and privacy lawyers, you will play a vital role in the coordination and enhancement of legal and risk management practices.
In this position you will directly report to the Legal Project Manager, Technology and Privacy. The legal team operates as a trusted advisor and collaborator, serving as a partner and business enabler, mitigating risks, fostering positive outcomes, and supporting rapid growth and expansion into new markets. With team members located globally, there is a continual effort to improve legal and risk management practices to strengthen the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the Privacy Program, coordinating input from various stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, IT, InfoSec, HR, Finance, and other business functions.
- Participate in legal projects and initiatives focusing on third-party privacy risk management, technology vendor procurement, AI impact assessments, and global training and awareness.
- Lead continuous improvement, scalability, and automation efforts for existing legal technology and privacy processes, including GDPR Record of Processing Activities, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Data Subject Requests, and Data Retention.
- Implement a data-driven approach for analyzing and monitoring initiative KPIs and metrics, supporting management and board-level reporting, and promoting clear and actionable processes that streamline legal technology and privacy operations.
- Collaborate with in-house lawyers to provide expert advice and guidance to employees and privacy ambassadors across the business, staying informed about the latest requirements in privacy, technology, information security, and AI.
- Take ownership of review cycles for internal and public-facing resources related to privacy, technology, and AI.
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a highly regarded business, preferably a leading advisory/project management firm, law firm, or technology company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Program operations and proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a demonstrated ability to operationalize technology and data.
- Pragmatic thinker and self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, creativity, and a process-oriented approach.
- Experience in data protection/privacy/GDPR or within a technology company is advantageous.
- Experience in implementing compliance/privacy technology is also advantageous.
