The Role:

Sapiens is actively seeking an accomplished IT professional to lead our Global IT department. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight for all Information Technology functions within our company. Leading a team of IT managers, you will be responsible for steering the company's technology operations, driving the implementation of cutting-edge IT systems, and shaping comprehensive IT policies.

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee all technology operations (e.g.global IT services: network, security, help desk, system) and evaluate them according to established goals.
• Manage the global IT department’s teams, distributed across multiple regions and sites.
• Responsibility for computing and communications infrastructure in the organization.
• Responsibility for designing the company's IT strategy to support business activity.
• Analyze the business requirements of all company’s units to determine their technological needs.
• Purchase efficient and cost-effective IT equipment, software and services.
• Inspect the use of technological equipment, software and services to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Subcontractors and consultants’ management.
• Interact and cooperate with managers and stakeholders on every level across the organization.
• Ability to combine between technological improvement and the business needs.
• Control IT budget.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in internal IT management roles in global technological companies.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (hardware/software), networking and multi cloud environment, etc.
• Sc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field or experience in special military units.
• Experience in controlling IT budget.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to drive complex projects and negotiate when needed.
• Excellent communication abilities, Creative thinking.
• High level of English.
• Willing to travel abroad.
