Tissue culture researcher

Novella is an Israeli startup that develops and markets plant-based nutritional ingredients using innovative plant cell culture technology. We are looking for a highly motivated Plant Cell Culture Researcher to join our plant cell culture lab.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development in the field of plant cell cultures
• Develop and optimize protocols for plant cell culture
• Perform analyses of active ingredients (phytonutrients) in plant cells
• Develop and implement new analytical methods
• Manage research projects
• Write scientific reports
• Attend conferences and publish research

Qualifications:

• MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, or a relevant field
• Research experience in plant cell culture
• Deep knowledge of molecular biology and plant physiology
• Experience with standard laboratory techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Critical and creative thinking
• Strong attention to detail
• Scientific writing and publishing skills
• Good command of Hebrew and English
