AlfaBet is looking for an additional data science star to join our team of sport modelling masters who leverage the cutting-edge advancements in Data Science technology and harness the vast and diverse range of sports events to create insightful models for sports analysis and prediction.

Key responsibilities:

Develop statistical and machine learning prediction sports models

Engineer and leverage years of historical sports data assets

Implement sports models pricing engines in Python

Test and ensure model accuracy through automatic tests

Bring Innovations and act as source of knowledge

Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production

Qualifications:

Masters, or Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field - must

At least 4 years' of experience in quantitative analytics, statistical \ data modelling

Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering, regression and classification techniques.

Expert in Python with a focus on performance-driven techniques and optimization.

Understanding of Engineering principles, OOP, MLOps, Kubernetes
