UX Writer Temporary Position

Job Description

As a UX Writer, you'll play a crucial role in crafting the user experience and creating clear and compelling copy that guides and engages our users at every touchpoint.

• Write clear, creative UX content in the Wix tone and voice for Wix’s building blocks (Editor components & Wix Design Systems)
• Conduct extensive product and user research
• Own every stage of the content cycle, from brainstorming on initial wireframes to shipping perfect copy
• Collaborate with product team stakeholders (Product Managers, Developers, Product Designers, and UX Designers) to create great products and other writing groups (technical, marketing, and knowledge base) to ensure a consistent user experience
• Juggle multiple projects at once, while prioritizing your tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining a high level of organization
• Work closely with our localization team to ensure our products are localized for our global audience (21 languages and counting)
  
  

Qualifications:

• A content professional with 3+ years experience of writing for a tech company
• You read, write, and speak English fluently and understand the nuances of the language
• You’re interested in working on all types of products - from developer-oriented and infrastructure-related tools to creative- and design-oriented products
• You’re passionate about taking complex, technical concepts and simplifying them with clear, conversational language the intended audience will understand
• You have good critical thinking skills with a mind for research and an eye for detail
• You’re a team player who can communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, and accept feedback to improve your proposals
• You love learning, diving into unfamiliar topics and you’re not afraid of technical jargon
• Previous work writing technical documentation - An advantage

Our components include buttons, text, images, strips, accordions, tabs, menus, and many other UI elements, and we work on a range of cross-company projects, like enabling our users to customize the CSS on their sites.
