Operations Manager

Lychee revolutionizing the future of video editing with AI, building an advanced platform for businesses to maximize ROI on their content. We are a small team running a fast-growing business and seek a energetic Operations Manager to join our team and take ownership on the company’s videos who are delivered to world’s biggest brands.

Role: You will be in charge of Lychee Operations of video creation and our end-product. This involves managing three teams planned to reach 15 people by the end of 2024. Operations department is responsible for delivering videos to Lychee customers, on-time and without errors.

Responsibilities:

1. Hiring, training and onboarding of all three operation teams (producers, editors and QA)
2. Owning the KPIs of the operation teams (turnaround times, quality score, # of revisions)
3. Hands-on management of team leads
4. Be the main POC with VIP customers (account manager)

Job Qualifications:

• Full-time position
• Required responsiveness outside of standard work hours (spread hours around)
• Live in timezones of GMT 0 to GMT+4 - preferred
• At least 2 years experience in hiring & managing teams (either freelancer or FTEs)
• Past experience in one of the following:
• 2 years at tech/AI-enabled startup
• 4 years at content marketing agency / equivalent
• 2 years at content/ops role
• Very good English communication skills (work with US-based clients)
• High attention to detail
• Spends 30+ minutes per day on video apps (TikTok, YouTube, IG Reels…etc)
• Able to articulate new features to optimize performance or KPIs
• Experience in automation software (Zapier/Make) - bonus
