Data Center Operations Specialist& Sys Admin

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist with a strong systems and network background. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal operation and management of our data center, with a significant emphasis on system and network expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and inspect physical installations within the data center, ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Monitor data center operations for alerts, perform general maintenance, and swiftly resolve issues to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, applying thorough knowledge of system and network configurations.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for data cleaning, communication setup, and other operational requirements.
• Organize and manage data center cabling infrastructure, including electrical and communication systems, to ensure orderly and efficient operations.
• Lead the ongoing operation and maintenance efforts of the data center facilities, with a focus on system and network health.

Requirements:

• Strong background in data center operations, with specialized experience as a System Specialist or Network Specialist.
• Big Advantage: Extensive experience as a System Specialist or Network Specialist, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex system and network configurations and their impact on data center performance.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, offering support and expertise to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Familiarity with Citrix, VMware, and other data center technologies.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a focus on systems and networking within a data center context.
• Experience with on-premises local data center management.
• Proficient in managing Windows Server environments, including patch installations and system maintenance tasks.
