Business Intelligence Developer (#1494)

We are looking for a BI Developer to join our growing BI team and be part of the company’s data modelling efforts.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of data solutions end-2-end, by translating business requirements into various business models and creating ETL processes for better data engagement, data analytics, and business insights.

What you will be doing:

– Develop and maintain data processes and build data infrastructure for the relevant stakeholders

– Transform abstract questions into quantifiable metrics

– Analyze large datasets and provide useful actionable recommendations

Your Skills and Experience:

– At least 3 years of experience as a BI Developer

– Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling)

– In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks

– Proven experience and high-level skills in writing complex SQL queries and procedures

– Proven experience in Python

– Proven experience in columnar DBs – Advantage to Redshift

– Proven experience in AWS Glue / Spark / PySpark

– Experience in Reshshift SaaS – Advantage

– Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – Advantage

– High level of English.

– Academic degree in software \ engineering \ information Systems \ quantitative discipline
