Assistant Controller

Job Description

• Manage accounting records and prepare financial statements
• Assist in the monthly and quarterly closing process, including preparing working papers, calculating accruals, and performing analytical procedures
• Prepare annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements
• Work with the company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters
• Support bookkeepers by advising them on accounting matters and monitoring the accounts’ journal entries to ensure accuracy of the ledger
• Review and approve payments to businesses
• Support the accounting team in various tasks and reporting
• Participate in SOX implementation processes and ensure testing results are properly managed and documented
  
  

Qualifications:

• You’re a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You’re experienced in ASC 842 accounting standards
• Audit experience from one of the Big 4 or 1-2 years of post-internship experience in a global company would be an advantage
