Junior QA engineer

PlainID is seeking a junior QA engineer with an Orientation to Automation to join our growing team to improve the End-to-end product features and align the R&D solution to the company’s business needs. PlainID is a leading startup looking for you to join and assist the R&D team in overcoming new technology challenges.

Our solution is based on Java and React, a SaaS product platform with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture. We’re looking for you - A Manual QA with the potential to grow to automation QA, an experienced team player to join and develop the next generation of our leading security product. • Hands-on Manual test execution
• Implementing UI and API automated tests based on Postman (or other tool)
• Working on product platform solutions
• Handling installations and configuration of the system
• Solid understanding of debug logs
• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other QA Engineers to identify requirements.
• Identify and record newly open bugs in Jira

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer for a SaaS system
• Experience in writing test plans and documents
• Experience in SQL Queries - A must.
• Experience working with Postman (or other API tool) - A must.
• Strong Linux Knowledge
• Experience with Jira
• Excellent English (reading and writing)
• Advantage - Background in Authorization and Authentication processes
• Advantage - Deep understanding of the Cyber Security domain
