SaaS Backend team leader / Architect for High performance computing technology

An amazing start-up in Tel Aviv developing a unique deep-tech technology for high-performance computing is looking for a Backend team leader to design and build a SaaS infrastructure for a multi-disciplinary product (software, hardware, physical devices). S/he Needs to be able to integrate different parts of the product into a Scalable SaaS product and has to have CTO and architect abilities. You will choose technologies, design and develop the backend infrastructure 80% hands-on; define the DevOps process, and work with the development and product teams to fulfill the customers’ needs. You will report to the VP of R&D and work with the CTO and VP of product. 

Requirements

BSc in computer science, MSc is a plus (or equivalent experience).  

10 years of experience developing distributed systems from scratch, production, and monitoring/orchestration. Backend of web applications on a high scale, and SaaS. Security. 

Experience with big data, data pipeline, and data engineering, and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB/Redis). 

Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure. 

Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. 

An expert in Node.js or Python (Django) or Java. Front end - React. 

Experience in working with the Algorithm/AI & Data teams, designing the business logic around mathematical modules for effective data processing.
