Experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer

At Billions of Words, we bring AI to archives and digital collections of cultural institutes.

We are a pre-seed startup, working with a few unique and exciting first customers.

We are looking for an experienced AI engineer to join us on our journey.

The position is very flexible, working from home and flexible hours.

Compensation includes salary and generous equity.

Responsibilities

Be a leading developer of our products, working tightly with the CTO.

Innovate, communicate with customers, and find solutions to their needs.

Write high-quality code and implement state-of-the-art AI technology.

Qualifications

Professional:

Previous experience as a developer from a former company or the IDF.

Managerial experience - an advantage.

Good knowledge of Python.

Experience with dockers, AWS, and other backend tools.

Familiarity with modern AI tools - Open AI, LLMs, CLIP, etc.

Comfortable with using and building APIs.

Personal:

A true team player and fun to work with.

Great communication skills.

Deeply motivated to bring value to customers.

Hebrew speaking - a big advantage (we are working with NLP tools in Hebrew).
