Frontend Engineer

At Gigaspaces we create a platform that allows our customers to develop and expose their data driven microservices efficiently and fast. We use the latest and most advanced technology stack that can be run on any Cloud/Cloud-Native environment. We are now in the process of building the new application and next-generation features and looking for a Frontend Engineer to join this effort.

This position is full time, hybrid, in our offices in Herzliya. 

Responsibilities:

In this role you will work on a new web-based application platform to be used by our customers globally. 

• Develop and maintain user-friendly, responsive, and scalable web applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Troubleshoot and debug complex problems in production environments

• Optimize web applications for speed and scalability

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend Development

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in frontend development - Must
• Strong proficiency in React and related libraries and tools - Must
• Familiarity with FE technologies and frameworks such as Storybook, Tailwind, Headless UI - Advantage
• Understanding of software development principles and design patterns
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience with agile working processes.
• Extremely passionate about innovation and cutting-edge technologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge in Kubernetes and Linux containers) - Advantage
• Knowledge of Cloud tools and providers - Advantage
