Product Documentation Specialist

• You will be writing Mend’s best practices, value-driven, customer-facing articles, and developer user guides. A technical documentation position for a complex software development solution.
• You will learn and understand new technologies and innovative tools for product documentation in the AppSec field.
• You will work closely with the Product and R&D teams. Also, you will collaborate with the Field teams – Sales Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, and Architects.
• You will use and implement automation and AI capabilities in Mend’s documentation to improve and accelerate internal processes.
  
  

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle
• Familiarity with the Usage of CI/CD tools
• E.g. Azure DevOps, Bitbucket CI
• Familiarity with SCM tools
• E.g. GitHub, Azure, Gitlab
• Programming feature proficiency
• E.g. APIs, JSON files, Configuration files
• Ability to prioritize tasks and have an agile approach toward ongoing tasks
• Native English speaker
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to understand complex concepts and write them in a simple manner
• Technical documentation writing – a plus
• Previous background in Professional Services, Sales Engineering, or Technical Support experience – a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical position at a tech company
