Your Career

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our Tel Aviv R&D center. The team is responsible for building the Cortex Platform - a shared infrastructure for all Cortex Products (XDR, XSIAM, XSOAR) that combines full case management, intelligent automation, collaborative investigation, onboarding system, and dashboards and reports, and more.

In this role, you will be analyzing and testing new features and bug fixes and you need to be passionate about improving the quality of the product you test. All this in a fast pace, agile-based process of development, testing, and release.

Your Impact

Test Our Cloud Service, Which Includes

• Be the QA owner of relevant user stories, from inception to delivery inside a development team
• Work closely with development engineers and product management
• Design and execute tests for new features or major redesign of existing features
• Execute QA cycles on a tight release schedule
• Learn about security solutions and technologies
• Integration with GCP Cloud Computing
• Integration with other Palo Alto Networks cloud services
• Debug failures in complex environments
  
  

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 4+ years of software testing experience
• Experience writing testing documents (STDs/ATPs) and knowledge of various testing methodologies
• Experience with both UI frontend (client-side) and backend (server-side) testing of cloud-base services
• Experience with Agile development process
• Knowledge of GCP cloud computing, MySQL, and REST API
• Self-learner and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies in a relatively short time
• Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience– an advantage
• Knowledge of scripting and a programming language - an advantage
• Security background in general and security programs knowledge in particular – an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English
• Candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure
