Business Intelligence Team Lead

We are recruiting a BI team leader for the data and technology department at a leading insurance company.

responsibilities:

• Managing a team of about 8 developers/analysts, reporting to the department manager

• Management, monitoring and execution of the team's work plans

• Work with users and business units from across the organization

• Working with technological interfaces inside and outside the department

• Managing the development of cutting processes and processing data from various systems and uploading to DWH

• Responsibility for the availability and ongoing operation of the systems under the team's responsibility, including the implementation of process improvement and fault monitoring in existing systems

• Management of work routines, tasks and team goals

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in managing a BI / data team of at least 4 employees (developers and system analysts)

• Experience working in a corporate DWH environment in a large organization

• Past experience in BI systems analysis or ETL development

• Experience in data modeling in a DWH environment

• Experience in managing team tasks

• Experience working with multiple interfaces and projects and the ability to prioritize between the main things to handle

• Excellent human relations - Team Player, highly motivated

• High analytical ability and business thinking

• Systemic vision and understanding of complex processes

• Presenter - ability and experience in delivering presentations and conveying messages

• Experience in the field of insurance

• Knowledge of ETL development with informatics tools

• Familiarity with cloud tools
