Responsibilities

We're looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Engineer to elevate the quality of our software products. As a QA engineer at Q you will be a key player in our team, in charge of performing comprehensive elaborate test plans, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.

You will be required to:

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for our software applications
Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand requirements and ensure robust test coverage
Execute test plans, identify defects, and work with the development team to address issues
Provide detailed and clear test reports for management and cross-functional teams
Ensure our software is optimized for performance and scalability in Mac and Linux environments
Stay up-to-date with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and technologies
Drive the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies - an advantage

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in QA automation
Familiarity in QA methodologies, automation tools and frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - advantage
Proficiency in scripting languages suitable for automation such as Python or Bash - advantage
Deep knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git - advantage
Experience with ARM and x86 Linux environments - advantage
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
