Senior Software Engineer-1

We are looking for a FS Software engineer to join our Alethea in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Alethea an online platform. The team consists of 6 people. We have a great skill set in Node.js and React and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Node.js and React.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

2+ years of experience as a FS developer

2+ years of hands-on experience in a production environment developing JS/ React, CSS, Node.js

2+ years working in a global environment.

It would be great if you also had . . .

Redux, SQL, GCP (or other cloud platform)

BSc in computer science.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Full-Stack Developer on the Alethea project, your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining front-end components using React for an intuitive user experience.

Implementing scalable and secure back-end functionalities using Node.js to support AI model integration.

Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers for seamless integration of design elements.

Ensuring the overall scalability, security, and performance of the Alethea platform. Active participation in an agile development environment, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About The Team

The team consists of 5 developers and will be reporting to the Team Leader.

Alethea is an online platform committed to aiding students in their transition to higher education institutions, by facilitating a focused and meaningful engagement with academic texts and class readings. Alethea integrates Generative AI models within a meticulously designed and academically sound framework, promoting critical, systematic, and reflective thinking among students while providing necessary support.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model. This is a full-time position.
