As a commercial & compliance legal counsel, you will work closely with the company's general counsel on a variety of topics, be exposed to the day-to-day of a startup, and gain experience with a legal background. Examples are as follows:

• Structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing with commercial agreements
• Maintaining and organizing the Company's legal records
• Providing assistance with legal research in relation to products and services we promote, as well as with compliance aspects such as privacy laws and FTC guidelines
• Drafting internal business teams on issues related to customer experience, products, and services
• Participating in meetings about vendors (risk assessment and onboarding), security incident, and growth
• Identifying business opportunities for internal process improvements and implementation processes, procedures, and policies
• Collaborating with outside counsels across the various geographies in which the company operates
  
  

• LLB degree in law (LLM - advantage)
• At least 1 year of experience (not including the internship) with commercial law at a top-tier law firm (commercial department – advantage; US law firm - advantage) or as an in-house counsel in the high-tech arena
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong analytical skills, research skills, and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (native - advantage)
