Scientist (Cellular Agriculture)

The Role

In this role, we are looking for discovery-focused R&D professionals. You will be responsible for :

• Conducting thorough research and executing projects in plant-based/fungi-based/algae-based materials with targeted nutritional properties.
• Designing and conducting experiments for bioprocessing of microbial protein and cultivated plant-based food.
• Investigating processing techniques to optimize sensory properties and nutritional profiles of food products.
• Collaborating with teams, partners, and institutions to integrate emerging technologies.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting risk assessments.
• Planning and executing experiments in alternative protein space.
  
  

• You possess a Masters or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Food Science, or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience as a Research Analyst or similar roles.
• You have a solid background in cellular/tissue engineering and product development.
• Experience with proteins/enzymes and novelty food processing would be advantageous.
• You are a discovery-focussed R&D professional, with a zeal to contribute to novel discoveries.
• You possess excellent communication abilities and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are willing to relocate.
