Team Leader - Software Development

Role Overview:

We are seeking an energetic team leader, passionate about great engineering and experienced in managing a small team of 1-3 developers. You thrive in an intense, fast-paced environment and are eager to take full ownership of ensuring that projects reach production successfully. You feel comfortable with the responsibility of building and maintaining complex systems that are core to our service.

Understanding the problems you are working to solve and their significance to the customer is crucial to you. You possess the ability to comprehend business operations at a deeper level than most engineers, quickly differentiating between what's significant and what's not, based on your experience.

You are adept at taking abstract business workflows and modeling them effectively. Your role will involve not only hands-on development but also guiding and mentoring your team members, ensuring high-quality output and continuous growth.

Your Experience:

5+ years of web development experience.

BSc. or equivalent in Computer Science.

Experience in agile methodologies, service-oriented environment, Node.js, Vue or React, and cloud services.

Expertise* in one of the following: Backend or Frontend development.

Proven experience in team management and leadership.

*Experience means having experience and knowledge that goes beyond the actual technologies. An ability to set up foundations that maximize delivery and results over the longer run, both individually and within team collaborations. These foundations must be well established both in reasoning and demonstrated experience in the field.

Understanding complex business processes and devising creative solutions that have a direct impact on our customers.

Designing and developing solutions across the technology stack with the independence and ability to deliver end-to-end functionality.

Taking ownership of system and code quality, following the principle of "you own what you build."

Contributing to team and company culture, helping to establish the right foundations and create a culture that sets the basis for meaningful work.

Constantly learning and growing your expertise, pushing the team and the company forward.

Raising the bar for yourself and your team, fostering growth within the company.
