NPI and Product Support Engineer

Job Description

Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drives solution design ensuring time-to-market readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness. Implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production. Evaluates, designs, and develops new hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance. Creates product specifications and other supporting technical collateral. Collaborates and enables internal hardware and mechanical teams to deliver latest products in the market. Partners with customer RnD and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer DFx requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, and providing health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HW and NPI engineers, local CM's and ODM's.
• Proven track record of hands-on experience in Configuration Management with Agile PLM.
• In-depth knowledge in Agile PLM system configuration, customization, processes and workflows.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within project timelines.
• Proficiency in generating and managing ECO's till implementation.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Hands on experience in executing SMT, Mechanical assembly and testing processes.
• Experience in coordinating the procurement and ordering of PCB's.
• Expertise in creating and managing BOM's for hardware and mechanical designs.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Practical Engineer in Electro mechanics.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sourcing components.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Capability to perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems.
• Hands-on experience in Agile PLM administration, user access control and security.
• Capability to provide training and support to end-users on Agile PLM functionalities, ensuring proper system usage.
• Experience with facilitating CCB meetings.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFT/DFC principals.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
