Solution Architect - Accounting Expert

Ledge is hiring a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role you will ensure our customers are successfully onboarded into the Ledge platform. Join our dynamic team as we seek motivated individuals with an accounting background who are savvy in data analysis tools and are comfortable in engaging with finance professionals in both financial and technical conversations across multiple levels of an organization.

What you’ll do

• Review customers’ current accounting processes and use cases and advise them on best practices
• Serve as an implementation partner establishing procedures and processes in Ledge to meet customers’ needs and requirements
• Analyze financial data to identify patterns and codify those patterns
• Discuss financial workflows with our customers and implement them as logic into our systems
• Communicate customer needs and requirements to Product and Marketing teams to inform our product roadmap and go to market strategy
• Gather customer feedback and work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to enhance Ledge products
  
  

• Strong accounting background and an understanding of how finance teams operate. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or a similar field - an advantage
• Fluency with SQL and vast experience with BI tools
• Experience with MongoDB and SQL / experience working with web apps
• Excellent communications skills and ability to take part in direct conversations with customers
• Can quickly identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to drive actionable insights
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision making skills
• Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. We are a startup and need people who are ok doing things outside their traditional job description.
• Ability to reduce complex concepts to formal logic, and create a clear visualization that "tells the story"
• Client-facing experience - an advantage
• Fluency with scripting languages like Python - an advantage
