Senior Algorithm Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Algorithm Developer specializing in photogrammetry, navigation and computer vision. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing state-of-the-art algorithms for our cutting-edge photogrammetry, navigation and computer vision systems. You will play a crucial role in advancing our technology and driving innovation in image analysis, 3D reconstruction, and object recognition. 

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Photogrammetry, or a related field, with a focus on computer vision, photogrammetry, or image analysis.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in developing algorithms for photogrammetry and computer vision applications, including image processing, 3D reconstruction, feature extraction, and object recognition.
• Proficiency in Python, C++ with strong software engineering skills to implement efficient and reusable code.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, including deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., OpenCV), and their application to computer vision problems.
• Proficient in mathematical concepts and algorithms related to linear algebra, optimization, numerical methods, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, and ability to conduct independent research and critically analyze academic and technical literature.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful algorithm development projects in the field of photogrammetry and computer vision, demonstrated through publications, patents, or relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with photogrammetry concepts and techniques, such as bundle adjustment, stereo vision, Structure-from-Motion (SfM), and Multi-View Stereo (MVS), Point-Cloud Processing.
• Experience or familiarity with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery and remote sensing techniques.
• Knowledge of GPU programming (e.g., CUDA) and experience with parallel computing frameworks (e.g., OpenMP, MPI).
• Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis.
