Penetration Tester

Role Description:
This is a part-time remote role as a Junior Penetration Tester.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Penetration Testing.
Demonstrated experience in conducting application and infra penetration tests and mobile Android/iOS.

Requirements:
Proficiency in using penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, etc. is required.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and the ability to exploit them.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation of testing processes is also necessary.

The candidate should have knowledge of security frameworks and standards like OWASP (appsec and API), NIST, and ISO in order to ensure compliance.

The ability to create detailed and clear penetration test reports outlining vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation steps is important.
The candidate must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques.
They must be adaptable to different environments and technologies quickly.

The role is a part-time remote position, with up to 50 hours per month, which is perfect for students.
The candidate must adhere to ethical hacking principles and maintain confidentiality.
