Vice President Communications - E Commerce

As the Vice President of Communications NA, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall communication strategy. You will lead a team of communications professionals to effectively promote the brand, products, and services to various stakeholders, including customers, investors, partners, and the media. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing successful communication campaigns in the E-commerce industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including press releases, articles, website content, social media, and marketing materials.
• Manage media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with key journalists, influencers, and industry thought leaders.
• Proactively identify and manage communication risks and issues that may affect the company's reputation and brand image.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service, to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across all touchpoints.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and serve as the primary spokesperson during challenging situations.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhancing the company's communication strategies.
• Analyze communication metrics and performance data to assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the E-commerce industry.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies that have positively impacted brand reputation and business growth.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content development strategies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
• Experience in crisis management and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
