Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our expanding technology innovation team. This team's responsibility is to build ControlUp’s next technologies to allow organizations to improve user experience, automation, reduce cyber risks,. You’ll be joining a small team of professionals and will have lots of autonomy and immediate impact in controlling the direction of the service and the technology decisions surrounding it. You will be expected to roll-up your sleeves, rise up to the challenge, emanate creativity, and perform at your very best, within a fun, professional and fast-paced atmosphere.

What you'll do:

• We are looking for a hands-on Developer with excellent backend orientation and a lot of passion to create and build our next solutions
• Design and develop cutting edge features
• Integrate 3rd party solutions and work with latest APIs
• Complex data processing and queries
• Solving production problems and incidents
  
  

• 4+ years of industry development experience
• Development experience in Nodejs, Typescript
• Proven and large experience with Databases such as Postgres, Opensearch, Redis
• Cloud Environment orientation (Azure)Agile MethodologiesKnowledge in multiple (DevOps) environments
• Experience with micro-services architecture
• Passionate for code quality, testing and performance
• Both team player and ability to work independentlyIndependent, self-motivated and fast learner
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu)
