Absence Management Billing Specialist

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$25.06 - $32.58 / hour

Summary

Receives and reviews Seasonal Months Off, Health Leaves of Absence and Personal Leaves requests. Obtains completed request forms, physician certifications and return to work releases and determines employee eligibility status. Provides verbal and written communication and serves as point of contact to employees and leaders throughout the process. Responsible for monitoring and tracking above leaves of absences, status changes and data collection. Responsible for coordinating collections of benefits premiums while employees are on leave of absence without pay, including but not limited to: tracking payments and deposits, managing payroll entries and corrections, maintaining records and assisting employees with Short-Term Disability claims and inquiries. Assists Absence Management Specialist as needed.
